Na na na na...hey hey hey...Goodbye

Day 4:  If you could rid the world of one thing what would it be?

This is an easy one - mosquitos!  Useless and gross!  They make me itch and are very bothersome!  I don't think anyone at all would be sad if all the mosquitos croaked.

Also, as a bonus another thing we could rid the world of: mean people.  Mean people suck!

Photo Day 4: Celebrate
Last night we went to Tulsa and saw the Lion King Musical.  It was AMAZING!!  We sat on the 4th row in the orchestra section.  That is the closest we have ever been.  We usually opt to sit in the balcony where tickets are cheaper.  The animals went down the aisles right by us.  I got chills and yes, even cried a little!  The costumes were spectacular.  What I wouldn't do to work on the costuming team.  Here is a picture of us with one of the banners.

We are celebrating today, because today is July 4th; Independence Day!  It is also my husband and I's 16th anniversary.  Later tonight (after we take a picture together) I will post a couple of pictures from my wedding day (oh, my poor photographer) and some from some of our anniversaries.  Stay safe and my American friends, have a great 4th of July!!

  2. LOL Great choice. Although if I were to pick a bug it would be cockroaches. *shudders* Mosquitos don't generally bother me too much.

    1. Me either. Other bugs are annoying, but don't bother me much. Those two need to be eliminated.

  5. Especially the mosquitoes between Memphis and Ft. Smith. I don't know what it is about that area, but they are vicious!

I haven't seen The Lion King; I hope you enjoyed it.

Happy Anniversary! I wish you guys many, many more.

    1. Lion King was phenomenal. I cried it was so beautiful. I think it is that Southern air that makes them vicious. Thank you for the anniversary wishes.

  7. My son in law has a funny saying about mosquitos. You know how once one finds you then you'll get bit by 10.

He says if you kill one all the others come to the funeral!

    1. Hahaha!!! That had me laughing so hard. It is completely true. They are all coming to the funeral and to venge their brother's death!! lol.

  8. But you can't get rid of the blood suckers... then what would all the bats eat? We need bats... because they eat bugs. You see, (cue Elton John here), it's alllll part of the great circle of life.

    LOL

Come on... sing it with me! :)

(Frankly, they don't make me itch or anything when they DO actually bite me.... just leaves a pink spot). BUT since the West Nile Virus runs rampant around here.... I tent to avoid them. :)

    1. I googled it before I wrote my post, lol, mosquitos are just a small part of any predator's diet so if we knocked them off it wouldn't be that big of a deal...hahaha. If I leave the bumps alone, they don't itch and are usually gone by the next day. But I hate them flying in front of my face. Same thing with gnats.
