I am OK

We did seek shelter at my mother-in-law's.  A two and a half mile wide tornado ripped through the area where my daughter does musical theatre.  The studio is still standing.  Two elementary schools were leveled.  Seventy-five students and faculty are still trapped in one school.  A hospital hit.  Multiple fatalities all around and multiple injuries too. I have been crying and praying for everyone in Moore.  We are supposed to have the same type of weather tomorrow too.  I just ask if you are the praying type to please pray.  I don't normally get worked up with storms like these, but today really shook me.

  6. Oh my Lord Cristy, I have been a nervous wreck. I didn't even know about the tornadoes because we were out late last night and never turned on the television. Then, this morning, it was up early to New Orleans for the field trip. One of the teachers mentioned it and I started getting all the news. When I heard where, my heart dropped. I've been trying, all day to get to your webpage from my phone, but had sporadic service over there. I am thanking God for you today, and that your family, is safe. I'm reading all about it now and it's breaking my heart. If there is ANYTHING we can do {and I mean that!} please just say.

You are the sweetest person. I am sitting here crying because of this sweet message. Right now, we just need a lot of prayers. I am sure in the coming weeks, we will need a lot more. It has been a really scary few days for us here. You know how it is like after a disaster (hello...Katrina). A lot of people displaced. I am trying to help as much as I can. We took pet supplies to one of the emergency animal shelters yesterday. Those poor animals were scared to death. Every time a loud noise happened they jumped. It was heartbreaking. Just please keep my state in your prayers. Thanks again for being so sweet.
