Air Conditioning

Today I am happy I have air conditioning.  With a heat index of 110*, it is one hot motha out there!  I am looking forward to the 'cold front' that is supposed to come in by the weekend.  Then our temperatures drop to the low 90's.  Elexis and I plan on going to the Tulsa Zoo on Friday.  I really can't complain though, last year at this time it was in the 110's.

Photo Day 6: Floating
Today is National Root Beer Float Day, so you know what that means...my photo of the day is of root beer floats.  I use good ole Bluebell Vanilla and A&W Root Beer.  Yum!

    1. I hadn't either. It was good. So good we decided to have another the next day.

  2. I am happy about air conditioning too. We had a lightening storm recently and burned the wires in my compressor (remember I just had to have the A-coil replaced to the tune of $1000) and I had to throw another couple hundred on this. Happy for A/C

    1. OMG, Paula. Your poor A/C unit and family. I am sure you are happy for A/C

  3. A root beer float on a hot summer day is definitely a delight! By the way, I too am glad to hear that your AC is working fine these days. The last thing we want during the summer is a broken AC!

  5. ACs truly are a lifesaver during hot summer days! Without it, we have to endure excessive heat and sweating the entire day. Anyway, glad to hear that you have an aircon. A rootbeer float on the side makes everything even more perfect.

  6. 110 degrees sounds unbearable without an AC, honestly! I wonder how many rootbeer floats can you drink to soothe yourself on a hot day like this. Even if it's new, don't forget to have it serviced for maintenance once in a while to avoid any hassle all year round.
