Where I want to live and visit

Day 13:  Somewhere you would like to move or visit.

This post is right up my alley.  I absolutely love looking at houses on the internet.  This past week, I have looked at houses all over the United States.  I have honed in on living in the North East.  Preferably Rhode Island (because it's a tiny state), upstate NY, or Mass.  I want to live in a house built before 1900.  I found one that totally needs to be renovated, built in 1725!  Talk about the history.  I want to live in a place that is full of history and culture.  Buttttt....then I found my perfect house.  It's only a mere $4.8 million...you know, chump change!  Ha!!  It is inside the Disney World Resort.  We are talking 10 minutes max to any of the parks!!!  It's almost the castle!!! (Okay, I realize I have just way overused the exclamation point, but it's perfect for Disney obsessed me)
It is the one inside all the green.  All the green is Disney World

Here is my future home.  I welcome you all to come visit (or live there with me to help me pay the $20,000 a month mortgage payment).

I pretty much want to live where ever my family is.  It was hard to move 8 hours away from them and I was only able to do that for a year.  But, with that being said, where ever my daughter goes to college is where I will be looking for a place to live.  My mom will follow.

Now visiting is a whole different story.  On my bucket list is: Greece, Italy, England, Australia, and all 50 states of the US.  I love new places.  I want to be a gypsy or a nomad, spend a few months at one location, learn all I can, and then move on to the next stop.  Maybe I could be a hobo.  Just catch the train.  I don't think there is a train under the oceans though.  :(

Day 13: Kitchen - hahahaha!  Not a chance.  I just made 105 cake balls.  My kitchen is a mess right now.  I have one load of dishes in the dishwasher, but there are still more in a sink.  I will show you my favorite part of my kitchen and something yummy that came out of my kitchen.  :)

I love my double ovens (ignore the finger prints).  That fire place goes through to the living room as well.  The clock doesn't work, but I love it.  My kitchen towel (the blue one) has the yellow M&M on it, he's on fire and it says "Do you smell something burning?" I got it in NYC.

Yellow ones are strawberry lemonade, dark blue ones are white cake, the pink and grayish ones are chocolate cake (I ran out of pink melts so I mixed with blue and was hoping to get purple...nope).

This is part of the June Blog Challenge found over at Paula's Place.

  2. I don't think I could take a house in the middle of Disney World! Those cake balls look great. Do you put them on sticks? And I have double ovens too! Comes in handy at Thanksgiving

    1. I have only made them with sticks. I didn't this time because I knew I was giving them to a bunch of kids and I didn't want a bunch of sticks everywhere.

  4. I enjoy living in the southeast. I'm surprised you would want to live someplace that has worse winters than Oklahoma. I would come visit you, though.

I love double ovens. A baker needs two ovens.

    1. Where you live has tons of history too. I have looked at houses there too. I don't do well in the heat though, at least with cold you can keep adding layers. haha.

    I have a Mickey tattoo...does that tell you how Disney-obsessed I am?!?!? :)

I would love to travel to all 50 states too... but I promise I won't move to wherever my kid goes to college! :) When they're gone, I'll cry but I'll be SO happy to let 'em fly! :) Then it's time for ME TO HAVE FUN! Dern ankle biters...

You realize that I have had to deal with the twerp known as Benji FAR too often these last few weeks...

  7. Middle of Disney, lol that cracked me up. You truly are obsessed. Looks like enough room for all of us to come visit.

I'd love to be closer to my DD, but moving where your daughter goes to college made me wonder is she planning on staying there?

    1. Yes, definitely enough room for all to visit, probably at the same time. My daughter wants to go to an ivy league school. I will encourage her to go anywhere as long as she goes to college. Luckily my husband works for the government and he could get placed anywhere within his field as long as there is an opening.
