Fall/Autumn Meme 

 First of all, is autumn your favorite season? Why or why not? 
Yes, autumn and Spring.  I like the weather.
Is it ‘autumn’ or ‘fall’, to you?
I use them both
What kind of weather does your area get during this season? 
Windy, rainy, highs in the mid 60's to 70's
Were you born in an autumn month? 
Nope
Do you pay attention to any ‘fall fashions’?
Nope
Which leaf color is your favorite? 
I would say Maple, my yard is usually covered in oak leaves though.
Is it still fun to rake the leaves and jump in piles of them? 
Yes.  Not so much jumping, I now kick and throw them in the air.
When can you really tell that it’s autumn? 
When I have to turn the heater on in the car in the morning.
Do you enjoy carving pumpkins? 
Yes, I wish I were better at it.
Do you eat the pumpkin seeds? If so, do you put any kind of flavoring on it?
I love pumpkin seeds.  I am a purist, just a little salt.
Are you planning to go to a pumpkin patch this year? 
Yes, every year. 
Which was your favorite Halloween costume to wear? 
I like my current costume.  Minnie Mouse.
Are you planning to go trick-or-treating? Why or why not?
This may be my daughter's last year...so yes. 
Are there any county fairs or festivals held nearby during this time?
All kinds.  I like going to them.
What is your favorite dessert for this time of year? 
Anything with apple or pear
Is your Thanksgiving Day in October or November, if you even celebrate it? 
Thanksgiving is in November.  
If you do celebrate it, where do you usually have Thanksgiving dinner? 
Thanksgiving is a hit or miss for me.  I used to work on Thanksgiving.  This past Thanksgiving we just got together with my mom and dad.  Small gathering, big hearts.
Do you remember any crafts you used to do that were autumn-themed? 
The leaf placemat in school.  Always a favorite.  I used to do that with Elexis when she was small.  
Are any of your favorite bands doing a fall tour this year? 
Not sure, but pretty jealous that my husband gets to see Maroon 5 on Friday while on a business trip and he has VIP passes.  
Which new TV show are you looking forward to this season?  
The Michael J. Fox show and the one with Robin Williams. 
How does autumn typically make you feel? 
I love fall.  It tends to make me happy.
What color do you always associate with autumn? 
Orange
Is there a song that always reminds you of this season? 
No, not really
Do you have any seasonal traditions? 
Pumpkin Patch
Do you spend a lot of time outside during this time of the year? 
Not as much as I would like.  I want to go to more football games this year. 
How can you tell that fall is over?  
When I have to pull out the winter coat. 
What is a typical autumn outfit that you wear?
Jeans, long sleeved shirt, hoodie, running shoes.  
Describe a perfect autumn day:  
Light wind about 70 degrees leaves crunching on the ground.  
Do you hate it when stores start promoting Christmas early? 
Yes, with a passion.  Hobby Lobby started putting out Christmas before 4th of July
What is your favorite thing about this season?
Cooler temps means warm beverages (not that I need cooler temps to enjoy warm beverages.
