This is tricky. There are plenty of time periods I want to visit, but none I want to live permanently in. I would love to visit the time when our country became our nation. Last year when we went to Philadelphia, it was so fascinating to learn so much about all of that rich history. That was a time when the people's voices were heard by the political figures. I'm sure they weren't honest, but I am totally sure that there was not as much corruption and greed that goes with being a politician today.
Another time period would be in the 1900's to 1930's. Again a time of great growth in our country. Mainly I really just want to wear the clothing from these periods. All those dresses that women made by hand I am in true awe of.
I would also like to visit when my mom was in school. I think it would be awesome to see how she was when she was a girl. Kind of Back to the Future type thing. My parents grew up next to each other and I want to know how they interacted. All I can really remember is fighting between them. I am much happier with happily divorced parents than unhappily married parents.
